SEASONAL-PART-TIME RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE [ALA MOANA CENTER]
Laha‘ole Designs is opening our first physical pop-up location in Ala Moana Center! We are looking for some part-time sales associates to join us on our new journey. Our perfect candidates are team players who are positive, friendly, creative, reliable, and trustworthy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers, making them feel welcomed and comfortable
- Providing excellent customer service by going above and beyond to offer assistance
- Recommending products according to customer needs/preferences
- Sharing product and company knowledge
- Operating POS and cash register
- Organizing and maintaining inventory
- Ensuring daily store cleanliness and upkeep
- Social media marketing
- Opening and closing of the store
- Packing and fulfilling orders to be shipped.
- Resides on O‘ahu
- 18+ years old
- Available nights and weekends
- Experience operating a cash register
- Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) system
- Excellent sales, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Critical thinking, evaluation, and analytical skills
- Background in retail preferred
We offer an hourly rate, monthly store credit when goals are reached, an employee discount on an allotted amount of Laha‘ole products each month, and a separate friends and family discount.
Weekends and evenings, particularly Thursdays - Sundays.
